Dear Gregg, if I may,
We have known each other for quite some time, and I was delighted in my new position to be reminded of your enduring commitments—to students, to great journalism, and to causes that matter in the workplace. I see that you had written the Chancellery about your Moveon.org petition to support the New York State Healthy Workplace Bill, and that you are calling for CUNY to be a “leader in promoting healthy workplaces.”

Behold, a Shrine to Erstwhile Colleague Billy D Helps Shine a Light on the Treachery in the Department of Film and Media Studies, Hunter College, City University of New York
Friday, May 19th, 2017
Sometime soon after he learned that copies of his email bouncing around cyberspace had bounced into my mailbox, Colleague Billy D, who had been boasting on his Facebook page that he was being promoted to associated professor, resigned to take an assistant professor position at Fordham U.
More about this later.

Former Hunter College Graduate Student Writes Book About Academic Bullying at Hunter College
Tuesday, April 25th, 2017Publicity Burb, April 24, 2017:
Loren Mayshark entered Hunter College in 2008 with high hopes of gaining a master’s degree in two years. Six years, two master’s theses, and tens-of-thousands of dollars later, he abandoned his studies without attaining the degree. His forthcoming book is an account of his struggles, which is a microcosm of what is wrong with the US higher education system.

Open Letter to Colleagues Who Sent Three Students Who Failed an Assignment into My Classroom to Tape This Colleague and to Recruit Students for a Bogus CUNY Complaint Proceedure
Wednesday, April 19th, 2017Part 1
This is what the AAUP said:
Dear Gregg Morris,
Thank you for your inquiry, which has been forwarded to me. Since we do not have data regarding abuse of student complaints against faculty members, I can only say anecdotally that such accounts do cross my desk on occasion. More often, we see administrators eager to use the student complaint process against a faculty member whom they perceive as troublesome.
