Minding the Work Place by David Yamada: Toxic work Environments in the Social Justice, Non-profit Sector
Monday, April 1st, 2019March 29, 2019 – “I have long insisted that workplace bullying and other forms of worker mistreatment are not limited to the big bad corporate sector. The non-profit sector has its own problems with bullying and toxic work environments. Recent reporting about working conditions at two prominent social justice non-profits, the Southern Poverty Law Center and Amnesty International, are sadly reinforcing this reality.”
David Yamada is a tenured Professor of Law and Director of the New Workplace Institute at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. David is an internationally recognized authority on workplace bullying, and he is author of model anti-bullying legislation — dubbed the Healthy Workplace Bill — that has become the template for law reform efforts across the country.
