Love that headline of Mike Lupica’s New York Daily News column today, August 17. Such sentiment should have been echoed in the TV news broadcasts purporting to report on the town hall meetings when and where rabid vocalizers seemed more interested in trash talking than health care changes.
Lupica certainly doesn’t need this site to circulate his words but, like I said, the headline is supreme. Here is an excerpt from his column:
“The most violent opposition isn’t directed at his ideas about health care reform. It is directed at him. It is about him. They couldn’t make enough of a majority to beat the Harvard-educated black guy out of the White House, so they will beat him on an issue where they see him as being most vulnerable.”
The rest is here.
Which should not be interpreted that the column isn’t flawed.
