Paid Internship 

Location: 300 West 57th Street–The Hearst Tower 

Description: 

First30Days (www.first30days.com), a New York City-based media company 
focused on helping people through the crucial period following any life 
change, is looking for two enthusiastic editorial assistants/interns for 
the fall semester (August/Sept-Dec). 

* Mastery of information search tools, such as Nexis, Factiva, Google, 
etc. 
* Sharp editorial sense 
* Knowledge or awareness of trends in the following fields: health, 
fitness, relationships, finance, self-help and current events 
* Mac savvy a must! 

Duties: 
* Researching various topics 
* Fact checking 
* Copy editing 
* Writing short pieces 
* General administrative tasks (faxing, updating database, small errands) 

We are offering college credit OR a small hourly wage for qualified 
candidates.

Community.

Do you spend your time online, sparking lively discussions and dishing 
answers to the questions being thrown at you all day? Would you like to 
help people find the information and inspiration they’re looking for? If 
you love responding to discussion threads, posing provocative questions and 
livening things up, you’re it! You have an inviting and warm tone and don’t 
mind “getting down on the floor and being patient and kind to all the 
little voices that need to be heard.” 

We are offering college credit and a small hourly wage for qualified 
candidates.
