No one should be forcibly evicted, no matter where they live. Forced evictions are illegal under international and regional human rights law. Osama Abdel-Khalek took heavy hits at the Africa Roundtable – EGYPT IN CRISIS at Global Information Network yesterday when he said the Egyptian Military Coup wasn’t a coup. He described “it” as a popular uprising.

Many in the audience and everyone on the panel harshly disagreed.
