One axiom of journalism is that credibility can be called into question because of prevaricating, engaging in duplicity, practicing  mendaciousness, embracing fallaciousness, specious and spurious indulging. That’s also an axiom of the everyday world. But not in the Department of Film and Media Studies and definitely not at Hunter College.
