On the way home from a physical therapy session. Stopped at Whole Foods across from the concourse of Union Square at 14th Street. Shopped. Sat on concourse steps for a quickie sushi (multigrain rice, avocado, salmon), observed the victor and the vanquished.

Some Jersey City Taxis Could Give a Hoot About the Law: Got a call from this taxi inspector about a week after this complaint [copy below] was sent to him. He had just gotten back from vacation and said he would be in touch as soon as he got back into the swing of things. There hasn’t been any followup from him so it’s not unreasonable posting a copy of the complaint two months after the letter was mailed.
